Joshua Mozell is a Phoenix health law attorney and founder at Mozell Law Group PLLC. Josh and his team are the only attorneys in Arizona and one of the few groups in the nation with a family-focused mental healthcare practice.

Supported by his background in the mental health system, decades of mental health law experience with his law firm partners, and a team of expert clinicians, Josh specializes in guiding families through the complex environment of legal issues that impact loved ones with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse issues. Josh also represents larger institutions such as, community hospitals, major hospital systems, and behavioral health outpatient programs who consult him on matters of confidentiality, informed consent, medical treatment, capacity, civil commitment, guardianship and conservatorship issues, interface with law enforcement and the courts, and advance directives.

Unlike any other estate planner in the U.S., Josh is able to combine the experience, resources and relationships he gained in his previous career as a mental health provider with his work as an estate planner. As a result, Josh creates highly individualized, effective and unique plans that set his clients apart from similar parties. In addition to this, he has developed a Substance Abuse Treatment Trust, where he brings in the most qualified substance abuse and mental health clinicians in the nation to consult on the drafting and implementation of the trusts.
